Marta Femenía

 

Born in Madrid in 1991, she graduated with the Professor Manuel Rodriguez, crowning her studies with Honor Award Thesis at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid.

She completed her studies with Pilar Constancio, James Lyman, Soyoung Lee, Mario Caroli and Vicens Prats. Likewise, she attended the Anento Flute Courses with the teachers Fernando Gómez Aguado and Antonio Nuez. In those courses, she also received master classes from José Sotorres, Miguel Ángel Angulo, Salvador Martínez and Antonio Arias.

She was Claude Lefebvre's pupil at the International Summer Academy of Nice 2010 and 2011, continuing her studies in Paris with that teacher.

Currently, she is perfecting her studies at the Reina Sofia Music School with Jacques Zoon.

She has performed with great success in various concert halls, as well as in musical cycles like Caja Madrid and "Summer Classics" of the Community of Madrid.

She has played several recitals with the pianists Niguiar Askerova, Álvaro Guijarro and Gerardo López Laguna. She belongs to the Flavia trio (with viola and harp) and the Dafnis trio (two flutes and piano). With this ensemble she has given a lecture-concert about the Spanish romantic flute.

She has performed the C. Reinecke's flute concerto with the RCSMM orchestra.

In 2013 she has offered a recital at the Palazzo Grimani-Marcello of Venice with the pianist Caroline Haffner.

She is a member of the JORCAM and JONDE orchestras. She has worked under the baton of Jesus López Cobos, András Schiff, George Pehlivanian, Lutz Köhler, José Ramón Encinar, Víctor Pablo Pérez, Andrés Salado, Santiago Serrate, Timothy Brock, Vicente Alberola, Cristóbal Soler, Manuel Coves, Jordi Francés, Paulo Vieira , etc.

She has collaborated with the Orchestra of the Community of Madrid and the NGO "Voices for Peace. Musicians solidarity. "

She has recently passed the entrance examinations of the Academy of the National Orchestra of Spain.

She is studying Art History at the Open University (UNED).
